Questions, Answered

The things owners
actually ask.

Straight answers about how Luna Front works, what happens on a call, and how we stand behind it.

Every call ends with a defined outcome. When a caller asks something outside what Luna Front is set up to handle, the call is escalated to a human on your team or flagged for prompt follow-up — and you choose where those handoff points are during setup.

Some limits aren't yours to set, and they're the same on every plan: Luna Front gives no medical, legal, or real-estate advice. Clinical questions route to your providers. Questions that need legal counsel route to your attorneys, or become a booked consultation. Anything calling for a licensed opinion on a property — what it's worth, what the neighborhood is like — routes to your agent. It captures the question and hands it over rather than guessing at an answer.

What you see after every call →

It never claims to be a person. If a caller asks whether they're speaking to a human, it tells them plainly and carries on helping — but it doesn't open with an announcement, because it isn't set up to make the call about itself. Most callers simply experience a front desk that picks up fast, knows your services, and books them in without hold music or voicemail.

It's natural, warm, and easy to talk to, and you choose its voice during onboarding from a library you can filter by accent and gender. The best way to judge it is to hear it yourself — that's what the demo call is for.

Hear it answer a call →

An answering service takes a message. Luna Front books the appointment — that's the difference that shows up in your calendar.

And where a shared service reads the same script for every business it covers, Luna Front is configured to yours: your scripts, your intake questions, your booking rules. When you want a call handled differently, you tell us and we change it.

Side by side with an answering service →·The switching checklist →

It's simple and it's in writing: your first plan fee isn't charged until 30 days after go-live, and then only if Luna Front booked enough in those 30 days to cover it. If it didn't, that month is never billed — there is nothing to claim and nothing to wait for. It covers the plan fee only; the one-time $299 setup fee is charged at signup and is not refundable.

It's an ROI guarantee, not a satisfaction survey — the bar is whether it covers its plan fee.

All five terms of the guarantee →

Your AI front desk is live and answering calls within 5 business days of your signed agreement. Text messaging activates separately, once U.S. carrier registration is complete — typically 10–14 business days from the day we receive your EIN.

Carrier registration is a federal requirement for all business SMS, with every provider: carriers verify your business against IRS records. We request your EIN the day you sign, so it runs while your phone line is already working.

Your side of it is small: you tell us how your front desk should work and we build it. Higher tiers add a live setup call and a configuration review before it takes a real call.

What carrier registration actually involves →

In almost all cases, yes — and the integration work is ours, not yours. During onboarding you tell us what you use to schedule appointments and track clients, and we configure Luna Front so bookings land directly in your calendar. Your existing system stays the source of truth, and there's nothing for your staff to install or learn.

A less common or custom system is something we confirm on your consultation, before you commit. If you switch systems later, you tell us and we update it.

The five connections, and who they're for →

Not at present, and we'd rather say so than be vague about it. If your practice requires a signed Business Associate Agreement before it can use a vendor, Luna Front isn't the right fit today — tell us on a consultation and we'll say that plainly rather than sell around it.

What we do instead is limit what there is to protect. Each client is a separate account, caller and booking details travel over encrypted connections, access is permission-based and logged, and Luna Front collects only what's needed to answer, qualify, and book. Luna Front gives no medical, legal, or real-estate advice — questions that need a licensed judgment route to your providers, your attorneys, or your agents by the escalation rules you set.

We also won't claim otherwise. You'll find vendors in this category describing themselves as HIPAA compliant; that's a phrase with a specific meaning, and we're not going to use it as a marketing term while a BAA isn't something we sign.

How your data is handled →

No. We don't create, manage, or pay for ads, and we don't post content. What we do on Growth and Pro is work the inbound side: Luna Front answers direct messages on your Facebook and Instagram accounts, and lead form submissions route in the same way — both landing in the same intake and booking pipeline as a phone call, tagged by source, so they get worked instead of sitting in a Meta inbox. If you already work with a marketing agency, this sits alongside them rather than replacing them.

Plans are month-to-month — no long-term contract required. Between that and the 30-day guarantee on your first month's plan fee, the risk of trying Luna Front sits with us, not you.
